The SA Sports Medicine Association invites all members of the Sports Medicine Community to join us at the 2025 Sports Medicine Conference.
After a brilliant 2024 event, we saw over 130 Medical/Allied Health, Sports Trainer, Sport and Recreation Industry and Community Members come together for our first combined Conference. We will be adopting this format going forward in 2025.
Dr David Hughes, Chief Medical Officer for the AIS is the key note speaker, who will be supported by a fantastic list of presenters who are representing sports medicine disciplines plus others.
Excellent networking, education and collaboration opportunities for all attendees.

2025 Conference Program
Each session will outline the athletes’ stage of life, injuries, challenges, family history and the role everyone has to play towards Olympic selection. The multi-disciplinary panel follows each 4-year period, discussing their initial thoughts on injuries, management, and collaboration across disciplines, including audience interaction.
Following the panel discussions will be two in depth practical workshops and to finish the day a keynote presentation.
We would like to thank 2025 Conference Coordinator, Dr David Spurrier, for his expertise and contributions to the 2025 event.

Conference tickets are discounted for SASMA Members, however we encourage the wider Sports Medicine Community to join us, there are membership packages available if you would like to join our Multi-D community!
