“My journey in sports medicine started with a discussion with past SASMA president Dr Andrew Potter who advised me to join SASMA.

As a junior doctor, I attended SASMA’s Sports Medicine in General Practice course, where I met some of SA’s pre-eminent sports medicine experts.

I took this opportunity to link up with doctors like Marc Cesana and Andrew Potter (the current and former chief medical officers of the Adelaide Football Club) and started to develop my skills as a sport’s medical practitioner.

Having real world experience highly assisted my entry into specialist training as a Sport and Exercise Physician – and gaining this experience would not have been possible without SASMA”
